Light
Thrives in bright to medium indirect light. Can tolerate low light but may not produce flowers if light levels are too low. Not suited for intense, direct sun as leaves will burn.
Water
Water when the soil completely dries out. To see if your plant needs water take the taco test! Just gently squeeze the side of the leaves together to make a taco. If you can fold the leaves, give it a water. If the leaves are firm and you would break them if you tried to make it look like a taco, don't water. Hot sauce not recomended.
Tips
- Hoyas will produce clusters of star-shaped flowers. Don't cut the flower stem once the flowers are spent. Leave them as this is where the plant will flower from in the future! Do not attempt to move your hoya once in bloom, they are sensitive to change during this time and might drop the flowers.
- Fertilize once a month during the spring and summer.
